Stomping The Search Engines 2 (StomperNet) Review

Hi! If you're new here, you might want to register for free email updates. Just use the form at the top of the sidebar. Thanks for visiting The Lucid Blog!

In my quiet time, I like to imagine the IM world as a large gathering of hyperactive six-year olds on a bouncy castle. It might be fun to watch, but it sure gets noisy from time to time.

A new StomperNet launch, however, is like taking the same group of six-year olds, feeding them a couple of shots of extra-strength espresso and then taking them to a shop that sells nothing but air-horns and drums.

It just makes a racket.

I got a message from StomperNet a few weeks ago and - after signing an NDA - I got to find out a little bit about the new video series, “Stomping The Search Engines 2” which the whole IM world is going to go crazy about on Wednesday.

It’s the sad thing about IM products that are GENUINELY worthwhile (and StomperNet definitely fits into that category). They are promoted by the serious marketers who are very selective about who and what they promote; but they are also promoted by the people who recommend anything that carries the words “affiliate” and “recurring income”.

The people who really lose out on these occasions are the people that would have seriously benefited from the product, but dismissed it because that much noise makes it difficult to assess anything rationally.

I wonder how many people have considered StomperNet in the past, but have dismissed it - just to be on the safe side?

I bang on about Stompernet at every chance that I get because I can say, without any shadow of a doubt, that in terms of their ability to help people move their business forward, they are among, if not the, best the IM world has ever seen.

But how to I say that to my readers and sound like I mean it, when every other affiliate is saying exactly the same thing in wave after wave of sycophantic email.

I’m not saying this is wrong. Passion is a good thing and although hype, something that is used to mean excessive, is looked down on, where is the harm in using hyperbole to make a point? Especially when that point is to convince you that this could be something that means the difference between success and failure.

I have been - and remain - convinced, that if I hadn’t joined Stompernet three years ago, then my business would be dead or dying right now.

You might already have heard that StomperNet have been sending copies of the new “Stomping the Search Engines” DVDs to joint venture partners so they can post genuine reviews of the product. I chuckled when I heard about that because, being based in the UK, I usually get info-products weeks after everyone in the US has received their copy.

I figured I’d be lucky to even get my review copy before the launch window had even ended.

So I was caught out on Friday, when my set of DVDs (and the other thing that I can’t remember if I’m allowed to talk about yet) arrived - a full five days before the new STSE2 launch was due to begin.

I’d love to say that I used the weekend to scour the DVDs and I’m about to give you a definitive review, but I had a writing project and a deadline which meant working early morning, till mid-evening Thursday, Friday and Saturday last week.

I’m a little fatigued.

I’m planning to dip into the DVDs tomorrow so even if I can’t post a full review, at the very least, I can give you my first impressions.

Although, that said, all anyone can do really is tell you whether the videos look and sound decent (and, hey, this is StomperNet, high production values come as standard). There isn’t enough time to put the knowledge into practice, measure the results and then tell you if it works or now.

So it’s probably more helpful to point out that I’ve seen all of the original “Stomping The Search Engines 1″ videos (it took me several weeks to get through them all) and - more importantly - the results of applying the information was better search engine rankings and more search engine traffic.

If you want to see how I’ve done in the search engines, check this video out:

250,000 Visits in Six Months

It doesn’t take a huge leap of faith to assume that STES2 is going to be at least as effective as the original.

So… here’s my suggestion:

  1. Check out the short preview page at http://www.thenettle.com/-/Stomping_The_Search_Engines
  2. Look out for my next email on Tuesday or early Wednesday.
  3. Prepare yourself mentally so that, on Wednesday, you can tune out the screaming and give some serious consideration as to whether you feel StomperNet can help you as it has helped me and so many others besides.

I’m not going to go nuts offering bonuses. I might yet, I don’t know, but to be honest I’d rather you got hold of this through someone elses affiliate link than not to bother at all.

If you want to go through my affiliate link then, great, your support is appreciated. If you want to use someone else’s then go right ahead. Either way I’ll be keen to hear about what kind of success you acheive as a result :-)

So, more to come soon. If you want to chat about hype, SEO, and anything else that has come to mind after reading this post, please comment below :-)

    Hi David

I agree that as soon as a big launch comes out the email boxes are flooded with it, and I have reached the stage now that as soon as this starts to happen I hit the delete key.
Unfortunately this might mean missing out on something good, but the hype
    gets to be too much.

I don’t understand how you received your copy in the UK on Friday when I haven’t even had mine yet.

I’ve written my review from a special digital download which probably doesn’t make much difference for STSE2 but does for the Net Effect. A pdf is just not the same.

Any way enough of my whinge, STSE2 is a very good SEO training product which will make a big difference to anyone interested in SEO outside of the expert level.

prepare for the mass of emails on Wednesday afternoon/evening which for Uk people will fill their Inboxes on Thursday morning.

Sometimes the offer is worth the hype and this is one such time.
