Mega Red Packet Review

04 May

I swift glance over the contents and Mega Red Packet (from Vince Tan, Edmund Loh and Stephen Luc) whisks me back to the days of MarketingMainEvent and Stompernet launches.  With so much on offer in one dizzying package, it’s hard not to be magnetically drawn to the order button.

But is this many Resell Rights, PLR, Software and Training Material, in one bundle just overkill?  And, more importantly, how likely is it that, once you’ve purchased, you’re going to manage to make full use of everything?

The answer is found in Mega Red Packet’s secret weapon…

Top of Mega Red Packet’s offering are six Membership Websites and three “Franchise Business” Websites.  These function much as any other Resell Rights and Private Label Rights product, but the key difference is the manner in which members can setup these websites.

Rather than spending hours downloading the material, and then trawling through user manuals to try and figure out how to install the websites, all you have to do is:

  1. Register a suitable domain name (instruction are provided for this if you need them).
  2. Complete a form in the member’s area with your domain name information.
  3. Over the next few days, the Mega Red Packet team will install your chosen website onto your domain and configure it ready for you to use.
  4. The final step is to log-in to your new website and add your PayPal information.

Visitors to your new website will now find the sales page, checkout, and product delivery systems, fully functional and ready for their business.

There’s more in the Mega Red Packet to tell you about but, before I go any further, it should be acknowledged just how attractive this installation program is.

The installation and configuration of a new website – no matter how simple and straightforward it is designed to be – is always the most time consuming and tiresome part of utilising a new resell rights or PLR product.  To include this facility as standard, for all Mega Red Packet members, is a hugely impressive feature, especially to anyone who is easily baffled by the technical side of online business.

It should be noted however, that this installation facility isn’t optional and your chosen website has to be installed on Mega Red Packet’s servers.  If you don’t have your own server space, this news will probably sound very exciting.  For everyone else, this raises the question of how restrictive this will prove to be.

Dig a little deeper however, and you’ll notice that once your website is installed, you’ll be given a username and password for the web host, a personal email address, and any payments you receive from your customers for this product, will go DIRECTLY to your PayPal account, and not through any third-party system.

This means that there is no restriction placed on anyone that wants to customise the website, the sales page, the price, or even add to the content that is included with each of the packages available for you to sell.

To me, this suggests that the decision to have all the member websites installed on their own servers is more to do with ensuring problem-free installations on pre-configured servers, than any attempt to limit the creativity of the members.

I could spend several thousand words describing each of the first nine businesses in depth but, since I’d only be re-hashing the sales page (link at the end of this review), I’ll limit myself to listing the titles:

Reseller Memberships

  • Bloggers Profit Circle
  • Copywriter’s League
  • Instant Graphics Vault
  • Instant Product Gold Mine
  • Instant Marketing Citadel
  • Profit Email Club

MegaRedPacket1

Franchise Businesses

  • Mastery of Words
  • My Instant Covers
  • List Quad

MegaRedPacket2

At the time of writing I haven’t been able to view the content of these sites specifically but, given Edmund Loh’s reputation for quality, demonstrated over many previous PLR products, I’m confident that these won’t disappoint.

In fact, Mega Red Packet contains an additional SIXTEEN PLR products that can be downloaded and utilised in the traditional way, and are a good indication of what to expect from the pre-configured packages.  Each product contains PDF material, video material, or a combination of the two.  All include a corresponding DOC file or AVI file for editing and customisation purposes.

MegaRedPacket3The sixteen products cover a broad spectrum of Internet Marketing interests, including:

  • Tactical Marketing Techniques
  • Quality Pay-Per-Click Traffic
  • PLR Info Product Creation
  • Sales Funnel Setup for Newbies
  • OTO Conversions in Depth
  • Clickbank Review Blogging
  • Press Release Marketing
  • Article Marketing For Newbies
  • How to Create a Membership Site from Scratch
  • Social Networking for Newbies
  • Easy Video Squeeze System
  • Biz-Op Sales Strategies
  • Instant Video Marketing Secrets
  • Selling the Secret Sauce
  • Skyrocket Your Sales
  • WARNING Psychological Triggers Exposed

Twenty-Five new products and membership sites for you to profit from so far, but what I was really pleased to see included – on the very first page of the membership area – is a “15 Minute Start Guide”.

MegaRedPacket4It would have been easy for Vince, Edmund and Stephen, to bundle everything in the member’s area and leave their customers to it, but to their credit they’ve taken the time to layout a simple, sensible plan of action.

I’ve seen other large product bundles that are similarly epic, but with a member’s area that borders on complete chaos.  In those circumstances, it can take you a couple of hours just to learn how to navigate you way around without missing everything.  But the Mega Red Packet members’ area has been arranged and organised with the precision of a laser-scalpel wielding brain surgeon.

Finding and accessing each product is effortlessly easy and the “15 Minute Start Guide” means that no-one has any excuse to be confused by what they find.

Without wanting to give too much away, the guide explains how to order the installation of your first membership site, or franchise business, and then recommends using the few days waiting period to download and study the Traffic Leopard – Home Study Course… also included in the Mega Red Packet bundle.

MegaRedPacket5This content sits on a separate website and you’re given instructions on how to setup a free account for this membership site.  Again, this is delightfully easy to use, and the course contains approximately seven hours of video training material on the subject of driving traffic (optional PDFs are provided if you hate training videos).

The idea is that, by the time your first website is up and ready for you to use, you’ll already be well prepared to begin driving traffic.

Traffic Leopard is the icing on the cake (I know, that sounds weird – lol).  It ensures every Mega Red Packet member has the products AND the knowledge they need to generate traffic.

If you’ve read any of my previous reviews you’ll know that I always aim to write a balanced review that praises the good points, and acknowledges the weaknesses.  Yet, in this instance, I’m honestly finding it difficult to think of where this can be criticised.

I could point to the restrictions on the main nine products that have to be installed to Mega Red Packet’s timetable, and on their server, but I’m convinced that very few people will find this restrictive and, by contrast, a large number of people will appreciate being able to use their purchase without having to wrestle with the technical side of things.

What this amounts to is a nice balance between providing content that experienced marketers can quickly get on with editing and customising, and a system that is also manageable for inexperienced home business owners who will welcome some help along the way.

Believe it or not, even though I’m coming to the end of this review, I still haven’t covered everything that is included in the Mega Red Packet package.

megaredpacket6Also available to members:

  • Upgraded, premium accounts with four advertising networks
  • Three software programs (unavailable for testing at the time of writing)
  • A JV Contributions section containing additional bonuses
  • A member’s forum
  • A series of pre-written autoresponder emails

In case you haven’t figured it out yet, I cannot do anything but heartily recommend Mega Red Packet to all internet marketers.  If you’re new and looking for a place to start, or if you’re looking for new content to complement an existing business, or if you’d benefit from a stack of ready-made products to use as bonuses or one-time-offers, etc, then it could be a long time before you see another collection this good, and at a price that is this reasonable.

Mega Red Packet is available now for a one-time payment, or on a three-month payment plan.  But the introductory price is only available for the first 10 days, so click below to visit the Mega Red Packet website and make a decision sooner rather than
later.

PS – I almost forgot to mention that Mega Red Packet comes with a 365 Money-Back Guarantee.  This is a good indication of Vince, Edmund and Stephen’s confidence in their creation.

Still, it is how many thousands of people having the same websites and the same products, because you know as well as I that there are probably 60% (maybe more) that will not take the time to rewrite the PLR products or put new graphics on them. The same people will not customize their sites, they will leave them as is which means there will be thousands of cookie cutter sites that the search engines will look at as duplicate sites. The first ones up will get indexed and the rest will be pasted by.

    That’s my 2cents

I totally agree with June, too bad, but that is what is going to happen.

I take your point, but you’re missing the fact that everything is fully customisable (graphics, sales copy, content, etc). If you change nothing and get a duplicate content penalty then you’ve only got yourself to blame.

And anyway, this is only really an issue if your main plan for getting traffic is SEO. There are plenty of other ways to gain targeted traffic.

I think you’re also overestimating how many people will take the time to use EVERY SINGLE product. I would estimate that about 10-20% (being generous) will put up one site, and 1-5% will put up more than two.

The rest will either use the products for their own training, use the products as bonuses or OTOs, or never get around to doing anything.

I’m not saying you should ignore the competition factor, but it really shouldn’t be a main concern. It’s a big market out there :-)

Don’t get me wrong, I am not saying that the products are not good products. What I am saying is of the people that actually use the products once they have bought them, 60% (probably more like 85%) will not take the time to use them correctly.

I agree with you whole-heartedly that 1-5% will put up more than 2. But for the rest, Hm-m-m….let’s do the math. 100% – 85% =15% of those that actually use the products will do it correctly. LOL. The rest will slap them up without bothering to make a change.

    Just my 2 cents

What do ya’ll think about that?

It’s not that I think you’re wrong June, I just think it’s unimportant.

I figured out a while ago that there’s little I can say or do to stop the majority of aspiring IMers from chasing rainbows and wasting time hunting for instant wealth.

That’s the reality of IM (and the world in general), but what I’m more interested in is the fact that MegaRedPacket is a high quality package, at a very reasonable price.

And the MRP members who don’t use their purchase properly won’t be able to stop me from succeeding where they fail.

    David,
I have to say that was the first email that I have ever gotten saying that no one had taken the offer. And I find it refreshing.

I really believe that some of the emails that I get saying that the “offer” is almost gone are out and out lies. Especially when it is the 3rd email from the same marketer for the same offer!

There are some changes going on in the IM arena. Some good and some very bad. Forced continuity comes to mind. To me it is deceit, plain and simple.

The other change is IMer’s giving good free information. Hardly seems possible, but it makes sense. I would much rather do business with someone who would GIVE me something rather than try to cheat me out of some money.

You have the look of honesty and I really believe that you are not even capable of cheating someone! LOL.

Anyway, before I get out of control, I just wanted to thank you for the honesty. I enjoy the emails that I get from you. Keep up the good work.

    Bob

Thanks for the complements Bob. Being British I much prefer moaning about my failures, than trying to muster some false modesty about my successes.

So if you enjoy reading about the occasions when an idea of mine has absolutely bombed, I can dig up plenty more :-)

Good to know I have the look of honesty, though. Perhaps I should license my face out to other marketers to add to their sales pages. It might boost their conversion rates.

Now I come to think of it, that could make for some fun split-testing. Put up a generic lead capture page and split-test with the only difference being the “photo” of the owner. Find out who has the most honest face in IM!
