Good luck David! I know you can win this thing because of the things you learn at StomperNet! Yes StomperNet is pretty sweet but, the fact that you just put into action what you have learned is even cooler and now you rank number 1 for "Focus Marketing Seminars UK Event"!! How cool is that!

Looking forward to it Matt!

It's going to be interesting to see the progress that some people have made over the last 12 months but, more importantly, will the event be able to manage without Puddy at the helm?

I'm sure Pat is up to the task :-)

David,

Didn't see any other way, so I'll respond to this post, although I've no interest in UK events - wrong side of the pond.
It's about, "This Email Is NOT (personal)."
I agree wholeheartedly.

The first time I received such an email, I thought little of it, although somewhat disappointed.

The second time, I thought perhaps it was an error.

The third time ... well, three times establishes a trend.

I currently have a filter in place that automatically files any email that has the word personal in the subject line. I know a few other folk who do the same.

I do a once-a-week check just to be certain a truly personal email didn't get caught in the marketing filter, or I'd not have seen yours.

'Twould seem that these _crafty_ (read _desperate_) - some with good-sized lists, too - marketeers (as in privateers) don't realize they're shooting themselves in the foot.

Oh, yeah ... I also do a quarterly frequency count. If it's great enough, I kill that list and earmark the marketer for no further activity.

After all, no matter how big they might be, if they feel the need to stoop to such tactics, I don't need their input, ya know?

Make a good day ...
                       ... barn
