Most info-products focus on very specific areas of internet marketing, and there’s nothing wrong with that. But, at some point, you need to learn how to put all these different skills into a logical sequence and then carry them out correctly.
This is an idea I’ve been mulling over for a while and I was reminded of it when Tim Whiston told me about his latest online workshop.
You might recall me talking about Tim’s web design workshop earlier in the year. The opportunity to learn a range of skills within a specific, focused time period and to receive personalised coaching and feedback was, as you might expect, very appealing to a lot of people.
Now Tim has a new workshop that is even grander in scope.
It’s limited to 40 students and the workshop will run over 4 weeks. The fun part is that much of the course material hasn’t been created yet.
Huh?!?
Well, before the course begins, Tim is going to select one idea for a niche business from those suggested by the students. He will then, over the next four weeks, turn that idea into a functioning online business, while recording the process, every step of his way.
It’s the closest you can get to looking over his shoulder while he builds a new business, without having to physically be at his house.
Through a series of PDF modules, videos, and Q&A sessions, Tim will show you how to link all the different elements together including:
- Researching the niche.
- Choosing and planning the business model.
- Registering a domain and organising a hosting account.
- Developing the website.
- Monetising the website.
- Developing the product.
- Generating traffic to the website (without breaking the bank).
- Planning for expansion and future development.
Is it just me or is that not a great example of linking the different elements of online business together into something coherent.
Even if you are knowledgeable in a few of the above areas, this is a great opportunity to learn how to turn that information into something profitable.
In another nice touch, Tim is also giving his private email address to all of the students so he can personally respond to their questions along the way. A lot of online courses are designed to be sold to hundreds or thousands of people so, by keeping the number of students low, this allows Tim to ensure that no-one gets left behind.
Here’s the catch (there’s always one, isn’t there?).
I found out about this course a little late in the day and, in theory, the workshop started yesterday and is closed to new applicants. I told Tim how keen I was to support this workshop and he agreed to let me offer this to you, but that he would have to limit it to the first ten people.
And it would have to be within the next couple of days.
So, in short (a bit late for that now – sorry :-S ), if you’re able to register for this within the next couple of days and you’re one of the first ten, then you still have a chance in joining the workshop.
This page is exclusively for my readers so, if you’re reading this in time, please go and give this some serious thought:

If you manage to get one of the places, please get in touch after the workshop has finished and let me know how you got on
IM training courses that include one-on-one assistance are as rare as hen’s teeth. When you have someone to ask when you get stuck or bogged down, it takes a lot of the stress away. Honestly - if you’re interested I think this is an excellent opportunity.
