Should I Be Concerned?

11 Sep

I don’t want to appear rude, but I’m beginning to think that Stompernet are starting to lose it.

No, this isn’t one of those, “Guru X must have gone crazy because his product is so awesome and cheap and you should go and buy it now before he sobers up and starts charging millions of dollars” type of messages.

I’m seriously beginning to think they’ve just got a bit carried away with the whole thing.

Stomping The Search Engines (StomperNet) Review – Part 2

02 Sep

In a hurry? Go to www.thenettle.com/-/Stomping_The_Search_Engines to see a preview (or to see the whole thing if you’re reading this after 3rd September 2008).

Usually Stompernet pre-launches are epic and laden with videos and downloads, etc.  But with about 24 hours to go before the launch, things are a little muted compared to previous Stompernet events.

This is NOT an accident.

This is a CAREFULLY constructed marketing strategy.

The exact nature of the product, the price, the thing that happens after the… Read the rest of this entry »

Stomping The Search Engines 2 (StomperNet) Review

01 Sep

In my quiet time, I like to imagine the IM world as a large gathering of hyperactive six-year olds on a bouncy castle. It might be fun to watch, but it sure gets noisy from time to time.

A new StomperNet launch, however, is like taking the same group of six-year olds, feeding them a couple of shots of extra-strength espresso and then taking them to a shop that sells nothing but air-horns and drums.

It just makes a racket.

I got a message from StomperNet a few weeks ago and – after signing an NDA – I got to find out Read the rest of this entry »

Lucid SEO – Ending Soon…

09 Jul

In a couple of days time, we’ll be closing the doors on the personalised, 1-to-1 coaching that comes as part of the Lucid SEO package.

The core Lucid SEO manual and videos will still be available for purchase, but the telephone consultation, panic room and website review facilities will no longer be offered to new members.

We’re leaving them up, probably until Friday, 9th July, but we may close this down early if it looks like we’re getting over-subscribed. This will very likely be the LAST time we make these particular facilities available, so if you REALLY want the full Lucid SEO package, now’s the time…

If you’ve not seen it yet, check out my new video. It’s an honest, un-doctored look inside the Google Analytics for my website for the last six months.

Removed From Google Index – Time to Panic?

19 Jun

Most of the time when people worry that they’ve been removed, or deleted from the Google index, they haven’t. It’s just that their rankings are too low.

But this was different.

I really had been removed from the Google index!

How did I know? Because I did a site:www.mywebsite.com search and I was told that my search did not match any documents.

I confirmed this by checking my Google Webmasters account and, sure enough, it confirmed that, for some unspecified reason, Google were no longer indexing my website.

Time to panic?

Of course not!
