Giveaway Riches – Review

03 Feb

“People respect trustworthiness. On the flip side, people don’t trust lucid marketers.” says Jason James in his new ebook, Giveaway Riches.

I very much doubt that Jason had me in mind when he wrote that line, but it gave me a chuckle nonetheless ;-)

I picked Giveaway Riches out of several JV invites because Read the rest of this entry »

The Lucid Blog – F5 Competition

08 Jan

hope you enjoyed the video I did earlier this week (it’s here if you missed it) but, lest I get a reputation for being less than serious about my business, I’m going to spend the next few days digging through the first F5 Module DVD and worksheets.

At the beginning of next week I’ll record a video that will show you the ACTUAL contents of the F5 box and, for it’s worth, I’ll give you my opinion to boot.

What I’ve looked at so far is very promising, so I really want to impress on you the need to put a few minutes to one side during the next week or so, and give this some undivided attention.

My concern is that, so far, a lot of what is going round is mainly the hype that always accompanies a Stomper launch, and an unnatural obssession with THAT oversize box.

So…

Here’s what I’m going to do…

I’m going to give away prizes to TEN people, drawn at random, who Read the rest of this entry »

Adwords Profits 2 – Review

07 Jan

With Adwords Profits 2, Jacobo Benitez joins the myriad of Ebook authors writing on the subject of Google’s popular Pay-Per-Click program.  But, rather than just rehashing the usual PPC advice, Benitez attempts to stand out by discussing how Adwords can be used as a basis for a home business model.

On the whole Read the rest of this entry »

Video: The Stompernet – F5 Package – Arrives.

06 Jan

My review copy of Stompernet’s new F5 program arrived yesterday in a pleasingly oversized box.

I decided to make a “box opening” video based around the theme of F5:

“The System Is Brilliant – So You Don’t Have To Be”

As a strapline, it sounds a bit silly, but it makes sense once you understand what F5 is all about.

Watch my video below and then watch out for my review of the contents in a couple of days time.

You can watch Stompernet’s F5 video trailer at the link below.  It’s glossier than mine, but it has fewer explosions.

Stompernet’s F5 video trailer

NOTE: You’d be surprised how much smoke can be produced by burning a little bit of cardboard and a couple of matches.  Home-made special effects are a nice idea in theory, but more dangerous than you might imagine :-S

CornerStayAds Review

08 Dec

As much as I enjoyed using “Peel Ads”, I have to admit to being a little skeptical when I first heard about Harris Fellman’s new software release, “CornerStayAds”.

If you have an advert in the corner of your screen, I thought, there’s only so much you can do with that concept.

I wondered whether CornerStayAds would really be a new product or whether, in reality, this might just be “Peel Ads 1.5”.  I had a vision of the old software with a lick of paint, a few new templates, and maybe some redundant sound effects.

Comparing the reality with my preconceptions, revealed that:

  1. Hitting 30 years of age has turned me into a cynic.
  2. That Harris Fellman has a great deal more imagination than I do.

CornerStayAds, you’ll be pleased to know, IS a new product.  In fact the only thing it has in common with the Peel Ads software is that it involves turning the corner of your web page into a versatile marketing device.

After reading the sales page for the first time, I was intrigued.

By the time I’d downloaded the software, read the installation instructions and watched a demo of the advert, I was completely sold on the idea. Read the rest of this entry »

Guru’s Dream by Alex Jeffreys – Review

04 Nov

Alex Jeffreys never struck me as someone who would be happy just following the crowd.

Even so, the release of his new report, “Guru’s Dream” could prove to be something more than just a step out of the mainsteam.

It would be nice to think that Guru’s Dream will be a defining moment for the internet marketing industry.  It won’t, but it may well be a defining moment for Alex Jeffreys himself and, if nothing else, don’t be surprised to see it make some ripples.

Because – and it’s not often you get to see this in the IM world – Guru’s Dream does something that has rarely, if ever, been done before.
