Lucid Marketing is Hiring…
Friday, July 18th, 2008Hi! If you're new here, you might want to register for free email updates. Just use the form at the top of the sidebar. Thanks for visiting The Lucid Blog!
Lucid Marketing is expanding and we’re looking for some talented and enthusiastic people to join the team.
We have a couple of projects that are in the final stage of development and are in need of capable management.
This is an ideal opportunity for someone who is keen to progress in the IM industry, but does not enjoy (or finds it difficult) working solo.
This would be a freelance position so, although a contract would be drawn up, you would not be tied down to working for us exclusively. If you still wished to continue pursuing your own projects, you would be free to do so. If you wished to outsource some elements of the work, then this would be your perogative.
We will be covering the costs and expenses of the project, so your sole priority would be to complete the work competently and in a timely fashion. In return you will be receiving a generous percentage of the net profits. A minimum level of payment would be guaranteed.
We are as yet undecided whether this role should be handled by one person, or several so, even if the number of hours you could commit are limited, you should still express your interest.
The main qualities needed are:
- - the ability to learn new jobs quickly.
- - the ability to work with a minimum of supervision.
- - reliability.
The tasks involved may include some or all of the following. It is not necessary to be capable in every area, but you should be able to identify at least one in which you are confident.
- - Installing scripts and basic customisation.
- - Basic server administration.
- - Communicating with programmers to design, develop and test website facilities.
- - Handling content management systems - experience with MemberSpeed (formerly CMSInfusion) is preferable.
- - Editing and formatting Microsoft WORD documents.
- - Customer Support (ticket system).
The intention is to advertise this on Elance and Guru next week but, if possible, we would prefer to work with someone who is familiar with what we do and who is enthusiastic about helping us take Lucid forward.
For details on how to apply, please complete the form below and an email with instructions will be forwarded to you.
