ANNOUCEMENT: The Nettle Returns

13 Mar

When The Nettle Magazine took a break towards the end of 2007, I expected that it would only be for a few months.

In the end, the hiatus was to last almost 18 months.

There are various reasons for the delay, the most significant of which was my reluctance to relaunch with anything other than a TOTALLY new experience for my readers.

A number of ideas came and went until, finally, the solution presented itself in an unexpected fashion.

It started with an email from Joe Jablonski (affiliate and JV manager for Mike Filsaime)… Read the rest of this entry »

How I Made My First Million on the Internet – Review

02 Mar

Ewen Chia becomes the latest internet marketing celebrity to team up with Morgan James Publishing to produce a “print” book.  And at just under $13, it’ll likely cost you far less than most other IM products that are released this year.

But is “How I Made My First Million on the Internet”, worth the paper it’s printed on? Read the rest of this entry »

Adwords Profits 2 – Review

07 Jan

With Adwords Profits 2, Jacobo Benitez joins the myriad of Ebook authors writing on the subject of Google’s popular Pay-Per-Click program.  But, rather than just rehashing the usual PPC advice, Benitez attempts to stand out by discussing how Adwords can be used as a basis for a home business model.

Video: The Stompernet – F5 Package – Arrives.

06 Jan

My review copy of Stompernet’s new F5 program arrived yesterday in a pleasingly oversized box.

I decided to make a “box opening” video based around the theme of F5:

“The System Is Brilliant – So You Don’t Have To Be”

As a strapline, it sounds a bit silly, but it makes sense once you understand what F5 is all about.

Watch my video below and then watch out for my review of the contents in a couple of days time.

You can watch Stompernet’s F5 video trailer at the link below.  It’s glossier than mine, but it has fewer explosions.

NOTE: You’d be surprised how much smoke can be produced by burning a little bit of cardboard and a couple of matches.  Home-made special effects are a nice idea in theory, but more dangerous than you might imagine :-S

Guru’s Dream by Alex Jeffreys – Review

04 Nov

Alex Jeffreys never struck me as someone who would be happy just following the crowd.

Even so, the release of his new report, “Guru’s Dream” could prove to be something more than just a step out of the mainsteam.

It would be nice to think that Guru’s Dream will be a defining moment for the internet marketing industry.  It won’t, but it may well be a defining moment for Alex Jeffreys himself and, if nothing else, don’t be surprised to see it make some ripples.

Because – and it’s not often you get to see this in the IM world – Guru’s Dream does something that has rarely, if ever, been done before.

48 Hour Profit Plan – Review

01 Oct

“Perfect For Beginners”

“All Internet Marketing Newbies Should Start Here”

“Step-By-Step Training from A to Z”

Compare the number of times you’ve hear expressions similiar to the above, with the number of times the product or service managed to ACTUALLY deliver something that a fledgling internet entrepreneur could use to start their online business from scratch.

You’ll most likely have a high number, followed by zero (or something close).

But this isn’t a rant about poor quality IM training products – this is about Read the rest of this entry »
