Should You Build Your Own Website?

A key question every new Internet entrepreneur must ask themselves is…

Should I build my own Website or hire a pro to do it for me?

The answer will depend on many factors. Ideally, you should outsource as much of the legwork as possible for your business, both in the beginning and as you grow. But sometimes the simple fact is you don’t have the big budget required to hire a professional design team, pay for high-profile ad space, etc.

By my estimation (based on the many people I have met and spoken with about the issue), over 50% of all start-up Web businesses build their first Website in-house due to budget concerns. There’s nothing wrong with this, but the problem is many times the new entrepreneurs try to rush the process of learning HTML by relying on a couple of free tutorials.

If you plan to build your own site from the ground up, and if your business is important to you, I recommend you invest a bit of time in a quality Web design course to get a real handle on all the basics. It’s no big deal that you can’t afford a pro designer, but you shouldn’t accept a poor-quality Web presence as a result.

I have recently completed a very robust, digital course on basic Web design, hosting management, site optimization, and more. And I’ve set up a special discount that all Lucid readers can take advantage of.

When you land on my main offer page, you can put blaster into the promo code box next to the order button to get $10 off the regular retail pricing. Have a closer look at my Web design course now and eliminate countless hours from your learning curve.
